  2. Our staff had given training to students how to handle Computer System, Different parts of computer system, and how to work in Microsoft Office, Paint etc.

Conclusion: Students of ZillaParishad School were made aware of Computer System.

  1. An expert talk was organized on topic “Social Networking” for St. GonsaloGracia High School, Nallasopara (W) for students and staff.
  2. Pros and Cons of Social networking were discussed.
  3. How to use social networking for our benefit were discussed.

Conclusion: Students as well as staff were made aware of Social networking pros and cons

  1. Teachers from school and junior college were made acquainted to the generalized features about computer and its device.
  2. They were made familiar with Windows O.S. and its applications.
  3. They were imparted training on Microsoft office by the Asstt. Professor from VIVA degree College (IT-CS).
Training imparted to Corporators of Vasai –Virar Mahanagarpalika for basic computer course and computer communications skill.
  1. Computer now-a-days are used for all the purpose. With the growing use of it, people belonging to politics are also made aware of it.
  2. IT-CS dept. from VIVA College had made this efforts & trained Cooperators of Vasai-Virar Mahanagarpalika
  3. They have been given training about basic computer application like word, excel, power point presentation, etc.
  4. They were also trained for basic necessity of internet in daily life.
Awareness to Social Media.
  1. Training was given to St. Gonsalvo Gracia Convent High School regarding the awareness of the social sites that are used now-a-days.
  2. The pros and cons of all these were elaborated.
  3. And how they can effect personal life was explained.
Computer literacy to rural area school students at Barol village.
  1. Training was imparted to rural area school student about computer.
  2. They were made aware of basic computer devices.
  3. >Elaborations about how computer is useful in day to day life.
  4. And also they were given knowledge that how computer will enhance their life.
Strengths:
Young dynamic staff

• More enthusiastic towards teaching and extracurricular activities.

Optimum Utilizations Ratio of student to reduce is optimized. Labs are utilized as fullest. Not only IT-CS, but also other faculty students can perform practicals in Lab.

Weakness:
Competitive examinations : Lack of exposure towards NET SET exam.
Information Technology is being very competitive field, the staff attrition rate is high

Opportunity:
Industry Reach
Student can reach to many industries like L&T, Appexcell etc.
Enterprise Integration
Tie ups with company likes TCS and Microsoft. Campus Interviews

Challenges:
Awareness of Industry integration towards students.
  • Students are job oriented in last year don’t think beyond IT/ITES. To make them focus towards it is a challenge.
External Environment
  • Some laws/ Government rule, university norms/recession also affects in IT/CS environment.

Future plan:
To educate about latest trend in IT industry.
To organize university level events.
To educate society about ethics in internet use.
